▸ Deep ruby red with black cherry, mint on the nose along with savoury nuances such as herbs, licorice, and graphite. ▸ Medium- to full-bodied with fine tannins and well-balanced, giving an elegant and long finish. ▸ The Sangiovese grapes come from a single vineyard. ▸ They are vinified in the traditional way with indigenous yeasts. Fermentation lasts about 15 days with battonage throughout. Skin contact is maintained for about 30 days. ▸ After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for 20 months in 2000 L oak barrels.
