▸ Golden yellow with a nose dominated by aromas of apple, pear, and citrus fruits. ▸ Crisp with good acidity; the 8-month maturation in new French barrels impart a judicious amount of oak in the structure while a little touch of minerality adds to lengthen the finish. ▸ The grapes are sourced from a single vineyard in the Florina region of the appellation. ▸ Slow ripening and low yield result in a rare aromatic intensity especially for a white grape. ▸ Fermentation starts in stainless-steel tank and continues in French 225L barrels (half which are new barrels, and the other half are 3rd and 4th passage used). ▸ Maturation for 8 months in barrels with mild lees stirring (bâtonnage) during the first half of maturation period. ▸ This white wine has aging potential.
