▸ Pale gold with green tint. ▸ On the nose are subtle aromas of white flowers, green apple, pear, and hints of anise. ▸ Dry, with a good creamy structure and a notable minerality that not only adds to the wine's amazing complexity, but also its persistent finish. ▸ Diego grape is a indigenous grape to the Canary Islands, though not widely planted. The grape is not particularly aromatic and is less fruity than the Malvasia Volcanica. But it does produce a more complex wine with higher acidity, thus giving it the potential to age for 5 years or more.
