▸ A fruit driven wine designed for an instant pleasure. ▸ Made naturally from low yield old Syrah and Cinsault, its round and supple tannins fully express the red fruit aromas when consumed young. ▸ Sakura’s vocation is to be drunk young for a full expression of its freshness and its red fruit notes. ▸Sakura is the magnificent cherry blossom tree of Japan. They are a symbol of evolution, moving forward, and Bernard Duseigneur chose this name to reflect the evolution of his estate towards a non-SO₂ ethos. ▸ This wine is made under the Vin Méthode Nature regime sanctioned by French authorities that govern the production of Nature Wines. Criteria: certified organic, minimal intervention winemaking, natural fermentation using indigenous yeasts, no added sulfite. ▸This natural wine is 80% Syrah and 20% Cinsault from young vines on alluvial soils, with vinification in whole clusters and a short maceration (and semi-carbonic maceration) to minimize tannins and maximize freshness.
