Our Story

Domaine Ollier Taillefer is run by 5th generation winemakers Luc and Françoise Ollier. What's distinct about Ollier’s products is the expression of the terroir: The geological formation of the schist soil is unique at Faugères. As a crumbly soil, schist allows the roots to penetrate deep into the ground. It also contributes to the freshness, minerality, and fine tannins. Moreover, their vineyards are at the highest zone of the appellation. Together, these are ideal conditions for producing great wines that are fresh with minerality while being robust and elegant. Ollier's 30 hectares of vineyards are organically farmed and certified. They are an excellent representation of a quality-conscious boutique winery that have brought this Languedoc region of Faugère into the spotlight.
