Cesconi
Our Story
In the archives of the town of Pressano, the surname Cesconi appears for the first time in 1751. Since then the roots of the Cesconi family began to grow on these hills, together with their expanding vineyards and their evolving wine craft. Today, Cesconi’s vineyards are organically managed while observing principals of biodynamic agriculture. The Cesconi vineyards are situated in a unique terroir. The climate is continental; the high altitude (300 - 500 meters) contributes to the benefits of a large diurnal temperature difference; the roots are deeply penetrated into layers of sedimentary soil, rich in minerals, dating back to the Triassic period 260 millions years ago. With Cesconi’s minimal intervention winemaking, this unique terrior is truly expressed in their wines that are typically well defined, well structured, with intense flavors and a long finish
