Château de Vaux
Our Story
The Château de Vaux, cradle of the family, has a very long history dating back to the 12th Century. The monks of Cluny built the Romanesque church and planted the first vines in the town. It was in the 1920s that Louis de Vermont decided to develop the vineyards and market the wines. Now, five generations later, Yannick de Vermont is at the helm to carry on the tradition, operating the estate in ecologically responsible and sustainable ways with end products that are healthy for both the land and the consumers. Specifically, they are certified HVE-3 (Haute Valeur Environmentale) and Terra Vitis compliant. Chateau de Vaux has 13 hectares, producing 30,000 bottles each year.
